The comedian, known for his novel use of Autotune-enhanced crowd work, blew up online after a video from one of his stand-up shows accumulated nearly 140 million views on TikTok. Jay now stands at 7.4 million followers on the video platform, as well as 4.3 million on Instagram.
Although he’s gained major popularity with Gen Z from said Autotuning, audiences can also expect standard stand-up and songs on his guitar. With a cameraman that follows him around the venue and projects him onto a larger screen, Jay is given the freedom to interact directly with the audience as much as he pleases.
Jay will perform two shows on Saturday as a later show was added due to demand for tickets. There are only a handful of tickets left, so book now to secure a chance at singing along with a TikTok star.
7 & 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, The Plaza Live, $56-$753.
