The Central Florida Dragon Parade returns to Mills 50 this weekend, marking the Lunar New Year in festive style.
The Dragon Parade, now in its 14th year, kicks off the Year of the Horse at 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, at Lake Highland Avenue and Thornton Avenue, continuing down Thornton (running parallel to the very nearby Mills) just past the Park Lake Street intersection.
The parade continues through noon and the festivities will continue with a market at the Edoboy parking lot at the end of the parade route until 4 p.m., with plenty of food and 40 local vendors awaiting you. The entire event is free.
