Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights is creeping its way back into town with the news of its 2026 theme and the very first haunted house announcement of the year.

This year marks HHN’s 35th anniversary, an event that the park says will blend legacy with blood-curdling scares — all culminating in the theme “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares.”

Universal will be transformed into a battered carnival featuring a slew of new houses, scare zones and haunts that pay homage to Horror Nights’ iconography.

This year’s event brings back ringmasters Jack the Clown, one of Horror Nights’ original icons, and his long-running rival Dr. Oddfellow. The 35th anniversary marks the first time the devious duo will join forces.

The newly announced “Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control” house brings guests face-to-face with the figures as it details the icons’ feud and a constant battle for power. The two eventually realize that more disorder can ensue if they work together to terrorize guests.

The first wave of “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares” can now be purchased at select retail locations in Universal Studios or online.

Halloween Horror Nights 35 will run from Aug. 28 to Nov. 1. Universal says the first round of tickets go on sale “very” soon.

More 2026 haunted house, scare zone and special treat announcements are on their way.
