Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival returns to Loch Haven Park from May 13 to May 26, sporting its 2025 theme: “Let Your Fringe Flag Fly!”
“Let Your Fringe Flag Fly!” is more than just a theme, says artistic director Tempestt Halstead — it’s a declaration.
“Orlando Fringe has always been a sanctuary for bold, unfiltered creativity, and this year, we’re embracing that spirit with open arms,” Halstead said in a release. “Let Your Fringe Flag Fly! is an invitation to celebrate individuality, amplify diverse voices and champion the power of the arts to challenge, unite and inspire. Now, more than ever, we stand by our commitment to radical inclusion and artistic freedom.”
The Orlando arts fest features more than 1,000 ticketed performances ranging from theatrical plays to musicals. comedy, dance, spoken word and more, plus free highlights like the outdoor music stage, Visual Fringe and Kids Fringe.
Visual Fringe will feature artworks available for purchase throughout festival grounds, while Kids Fringe invites young creatives (and the young at heart) to soak up entertainment curated for all ages. The festival’s outdoor stage returns to the lawn with new entertainment, beverages and food vendors, as well as the return of the Soapbox.
The arts festival spreads out across five venues at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center, four venues at Orlando Family Stage and the Kids Fringe at Orlando Garden Club, plus the return of BYOV spaces Renaissance Theatre Co. and the Starlite Room at Savoy.
Ticketed performances prices vary, with 100% of ticket sales given back to artists, Fringe says. Tickets go on sale April 14 online at orlandofringe.org.
