MegaCon confirms ‘Lethal Weapon’ stars Danny Glover and (uh oh) Mel Gibson as special guests

Are you, an ’80s kid, “too old for this shit”? Orlando fandom gathering MegaCon is sure hoping you’re not, because they’ve booked Lethal Weapon co-stars Mel Gibson and Danny Glover to appear.

Glover and Gibson will be on hand Friday and Saturday at MegaCon for both solo and tandem photo ops, as well as autographs. Gibson — once a marquee Hollywood name who largely torpedoed his own career with a litany of anti-Semitic and bigoted tirades (caught on tape) — is charging around $300 for his John Hancock or for photos, perhaps because he will soon be in the Trump administration as a special envoy to Hollywood? Glover’s going rates are hovering around $100 and less. The Lethal Weapon-style group pro shot has an asking price of nearly $350.

There are limited spaces for each photo session. So by the time you’re reading this, they may already be gone.

MegaCon happens Thursday-Sunday, Feb. 6-9, at the Orange County Convention Center. Tickets are already available through the Con directly. Start hatching your parking schemes now!
