This week listicle-blog Thrillist released its list of America's Great Nudist Resorts, and longtime Kissimmee favorite Cypress Cove Resort, in business since 1964, topped the list. Praised for its landscaped grounds and beach, the blog also gives Cypress Cove props for giving new visitors, "nudist etiquette training based on the AANR’s (American Association for Nude Recreation) guidelines." Because there's nothing worse than being creeped on while you're trying to enjoy your vacation from clothing.
Things Thrillist somehow failed to mention:
Cypress Cove has an on-site restaurant called Cheeks Pool Bar & Grill, whose motto is "rest yours at ours," and the lakeside watering hole is called Scuttlebutts.
The resort is home to the American Nudist Research Library, "the largest single collection of nudist print materials in the world."
There's also a nine-hole golf course where you can golf in the buff, they have stand-up paddleboards free for guests to borrow, and you are welcome to bring your own jetski to use on the lake:
Also on the Thrillist list: Caliente Tampa, located in Land O' Lakes, which was praised for its 8,400-square-foot lagoon pool with grotto waterfall.
