Saturdays are now for sharing storytelling magic and fun with the little ones at the Orlando Science Center.

Global Peace 360, the team behind the Global Peace Film Festival, and the Orlando Science Center have partnered up to produce the monthly Storytime Cinema. The program will feature children’s films that highlight friendship, empathy, self-awareness and educational lessons of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics).

Storytime Cinema is held at 10:15 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month in the science center’s Digital Adventure Theater. The program kicked off with a showing of Pixar’s Inside Out in January, and the next event takes place Feb. 8 with a showing of Labyrinth. The program intends to show other classic and award-winning films including The Iron Giant, Bambi, The Little Prince, Monsters, Inc. and more.

Storytime Cinema is free to attend for Orlando Science Center guests and members. As part of the center’s Science for All access program, families with EBT or WIC cards can enjoy full day admission to the Science Center and Storytime Cinema for $3.

The full film schedule includes:

  • Feb. 8: Labyrinth
