After missing numerous opening dates, Falcon’s Fury is finally open at Busch Gardens in Tampa.
The first-of-its-kind thrill ride stands tall at 335 feet – Busch Gardens says it’s “North America’s tallest free-standing drop tower” – and hurtles riders down at 60 mph. What sets this attraction apart from similar ones is what happens at the tip-top of the ride. When the riders reach the height of their ascent, the seats rotate 90 degrees, placing riders face-down for their speedy descent. Sound awesome? Yeah, we think so, too.
