The Houston native has made a name for himself with a laconic delivery and jokes drawn from life’s smallest foibles, a style showcased in his Netflix special Sweet & Juicy. Wang has also appeared on HBO’s 2 Dope Queens, and wrote for ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat (alongside comedy star Ali Wong, who directed his Netflix special).
Wang’s steadily carving out a space as one of comedy’s most distinctive — and maybe most ASMR-worthy — voices.
