Patton Oswalt gets ‘Effervescent’ in Orlando Credit: Courtesy photo
Everyone’s favorite comedian is different, and there are no bad answers. But fans are virtually unanimous in their vote for most adorable comedian: the great Patton Oswalt, who returns to Orlando Friday.

The son of a Marine, Oswalt was named after George S. Patton; while their politics couldn’t possibly be more different, both approached their lives and work with similar discipline and ferocity.

Since debuting onstage in 1988, Oswalt has crafted one of the most diverse and fascinating résumés anywhere, with credits ranging from Parks & Rec to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. And now, with Trump on his way back into office, he’s got a new target for his energies, and you can be sure that he’ll have more than a few words for us Floridians.

7:30 p.m., Friday, Dc. 27, Steinmetz Hall, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, 445 S. Magnolia Ave., drphillipscenter.org, $45-$75.
