The folks behind Bazaar47 in Gainesville are back on the road for another summer tour, setting up shop in select cities with a heady mix of artists, vendors, musicians, artisans and workshops.
The underlying mission last year was to create connections between like-minded creatives beyond the borders of whichever city they were in, and this “sequel” tour will spotlight works that resulted from those partnerships.
Featured is a collaborative audiovisual installation with interactive elements and photo exhibition Diaspora, spotlighting local film photographers and put together by Blowout with Not Another Film Lab. Superlative DJ collective and expert party-starters CHKN + BEER will be there too, with a rotating lineup of DJs spinning.
And if you just want to shop, well, that’s fine too. There will be a carefully curated lineup of around 50 vendors on the grounds of the Arts Center, always a nice spot to while away a day.
