A 'Golden Girls' drag parody is coming to Parliament House this weekend

Drag royalty gathers at Parliament House this week for a parody production of everyone's favorite gray-haired Miami ladies The Golden Girls.

The Golden Gals will be live on stage on Friday, March 8; Saturday, March 9; and Monday, March 11 at the Footlight Theater.

The show stars Ginger Minj, a star of RuPaul's Drag Race, as Blanche; MRMS Adrian as Sophia; Divine Grace as Dorothy; and Gidget Galore as Rose, as well as special guest Doug Ba'aser. This Golden Girls parody will be a spin-off of some of the most iconic episodes, according to the event Facebook page.

The shows will start at 7:30. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door and $35 for VIP which includes seating in the first two rows, a signed poster and a cast meet-and-greet after the show.

The show is for guests 18 years or older.
