Marco Rubio is more upset about leaks than Trump congratulating a dictator

Yesterday it was discovered that Donald Trump either ignored or didn't read a national security briefing that said "DO NOT CONGRATULATE" Russian President Vladimir Putin for his latest election "win."

Now, rather than condemning Trump for his extremely stupid decision, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio wants everyone to know he is more upset with the people who inform the public of Trump's extremely stupid decisions.

The Junior Senator decided to vent to Twitter this morning about how leaking is the thing that's bad for our nation, calling it the "bigger outrage."

Yep, focusing on the fact Trump thought it was a good idea to call and congratulate a guy who meddled in our last election, clearly rigged his own elections, and was just caught using nerve agents on people he doesn't like, isn't a priority to Rubio.

In other words, as the Chicago Tribune's Rex Hupke said, "I don’t agree with having an unhinged and likely compromised doofus as president, but the bigger outrage is people trying to show us that he’s an unhinged and likely compromised doofus."

Meanwhile, it's looking more and more obvious every day that Russia has leverage on Trumpland. Even worse, our president continues to attack and discredit special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian meddling during the 2016 election, has fired both the Deputy Director and the Director of the FBI, has yet to condemn Russia after 13 of its own Kremlin-tied citizens were caught interfering with our election, and hasn't even imposed the basic sanctions that both Democrats and Republicans agree need to happen.

None of this is concerning to Rubio.

It's important to remember that Barack Obama also made the same mistake of giving props to Putin for his last sham of an election. However, Obama also wasn't the center of an investigation on whether or not the Russians had a pee tape with his name on it.
