Redefine Gallery’s latest show celebrates the art of collage, but with an urban (or “urbain,” if you will) flavor. This “urban overlap” translates the venerated technique of cut-up, collage and photo montage art and applies the aesthetics of street art and current pop culture, resulting in a sexy/spooky/aggro mix. Work by Snipt (Las Vegas), Matt Siren (New York) and Peter Van Flores (former Orlandoan, currently residing in the Bay Area of California, and Redefine founder) unveiled tonight will be on view through next month, including a one-off collaborative mural. As is often the case at Redefine shows, art fans with slim wallets will find lower-priced prints and posters for sale among the pricier originals.

6-10 p.m. Thursday, July 20 | through Aug. 12 | Redefine Gallery, 29 S. Orange Ave. | facebook.com/redefinegallery | free
