Universal Orlando announced today that it's bringing a new Christmas experience to both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley.

Universal's "Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter" will run from Nov. 18 through Jan. 6, and will feature a new nighttime show and new projection mapping and special effects on Hogwarts castle.

Universal says both parks will be decked out in holiday decorations, events and food.

Universal also announced today that they are retooling their annual holiday parade, which they now call "Universal’s Holiday Parade Featuring Macy’s."

The parade will include new balloons and floats highlighting popular Dreamworks characters from Minions, Shrek and Madagascar.

Both the parade and Harry Potter events will be included in regular admission.
