Instead of blindly trusting and sorting through several GoFundMe accounts, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer has created another way to donate.

OneOrlando Fund was created to "raise and receive money to help those families most affected by the tragic events that unfolded on June 12, 2016 in our community," according to the website.

The fund is a project put on by Strengthen Orlando Inc., a Florida nonprofit corporation that seeks to start and support projects that strengthen the Orlando community.

Although the website's description of where the funds are going is very vague, it still may offer a secure way to know your money is indeed going to help the victims who need it.

People interested in donating can use a credit or debit card online, or checks can be made payable to One Orlando, PO Box 4990, Orlando Fl 32802-4990.
