A driving instructor at the Richard Petty Driving Experience, located at Walt Disney World, was killed yesterday when a Lamborghini he was in crashed and hit a guardrail.

The attraction allows people to drive exotic luxury cars around a track while an instructor sits in the passenger seat. Tavon Watson, 24, was driving the car, and he lost control of the vehicle. It hit a guardrail, and the crash killed 36-year-old instructor Gary Terry. Watson was injured in the crash.

The driving experience is not operated by Disney – it's run by Petty Holdings, which has tracks in Daytona Beach, Kansas, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Atlanta and Texas. The Disney track is located just south of the Magic Kingdom, and it's scheduled to close for good this summer so Disney can use the property for transportation improvements.
