You know her from winning RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season Four or Traitors; now see her changing the comedy game at Funny Bone this weekend. Monét X Change is on her sublimely named “High Heels, Bad Knees” North American stand-up tour, where she combines visual glam with a sharp wit, a lifetime of stories and lethal crowdwork.

This new show focuses on her deciding to retire from the party-girl life and take on new challenges inside and outside drag. The drag star, actress, opera singer (!) and podcaster has notched up 15 years in the drag game, giving her an advantage in the worlds of improv and put-downs (i.e. “reads,” for those in the drag-sphere) that some hapless Kill Tony chucklehead could only dream of.

This comedy side-hustle has taken on a life of its own, leading to headline touring and appearances at Edinburgh Fringe and the Netflix Is a Joke fest. “This is an hour of curated material,” she told San Francisco culture site 48 Hills. “I’m really proud of it.” And we’re ready.

Various times, Friday-Saturday, Oct. 9-10, Funny Bone Comedy Club, 9101 International Drive, orlando.funnybone.com, $33-$63.
