This concert’s already jacked with value and punch. But with the return of Deadguy at the top of the bill, it’s a certified historical happening.
After a brief but seminal career in the 1990s, the New Jersey band left a metalcore legacy that just kept growing with time. After recently reuniting, they signed with tastemaker heavy label Relapse Records in 2025 and released their first new studio album, Near-Death Travel Services, in 35 years. Now, they come to town for an overdue hero’s welcome.
Flanking them will be a murderers’ row featuring the narco-metal of L.A. icons Brujeria, the bludgeoning hardcore of local brutes Movingdiggingteeth and screamo from Tampa’s Novely and Orlando’s Concealer. This one will be savage.
7 p.m. Saturday, May 9, Conduit, conduitfl.com, $20.
