Momentum is on the queer comic’s side; her recent Hulu special, I’m the Man, was well-received and her shows are selling out. After three decades in the biz — including Tonight Show appearances and a producer’s role in “women in comedy” doc Hysterical — social media gave her a viral boost that she’s now running with.
