As Mark Twain once deadpanned, “Reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.” And so it is that Broken Strings Brewery has been quietly doing the thing after a brief interruption in early 2025, only now with a new ownership/management team who also run Longwood’s Three Odd Guys Brewing. And they’re starting off this year with a (very echo-laden) musical bang as the hosting site of the Reggae Circus Dub Fest.

The daylong event features craft brews, vendors, fire-spinners, glass-blowing and … a clown! But the main event will be hazy and groovy live sounds from E.N Young & Imperial Sound, Floridaze, The Rhythm-Inya, The Trees of Life, StonyFools, Gregory Davidson and Temporary Setback.

Will likely sell out.

4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, Broken Strings Brewery, 1012 W. Church St., brokenstringsbrewery.com, $19.01.
