As you may remember from Jaws, all kids used to want to grow up to be harpooners or sword fishermen. (I did. Seriously.) Not anymore, though. They all want to grow up to be filmmakers now. With that in mind, enrollment is now open for Enzian’s Kidfest Young Filmmakers Summer Camp, taking place this July and August for kids in grades 5-8.
Tuition includes:
Professional instruction with real-life film professionals
Top quality industry equipment
Delicious catered lunches and snacks
Admission to all weekday KidFest summer movies
Graduation Ceremony and Red Carpet Premiere
As someone who suffered the kickball and cheese sandwich horrors of Catholic day camp every summer until I was 12, I say to you parents out there, send your kids to this instead. They’ll actually love you instead of just pretending to love you because you feed them and give them allowance. Maybe you’ll get thanked in an Oscar speech one day.
There are a very limited amount of spots still open (5 as of this morning).
You can sign up at Enzian.org or by calling (407) 629-1088.
