Last year, we brought you news of an extreme makeover for the Festival Bay Mall on International Drive. The mall currently features anchor stores Ron Jon’s Surf Shop, Bass Pro Shops, Shepler’s Western Wear and Cinemark Theaters. The overhaul will add Toby Keith’s: I Love this Bar and Grill, Revolutions Entertainment and the Berghoff. One of the big selling points of the makeover is the artisans market, which is being touted as “one of the largest indoor public markets and bazaars in the U.S.”
Originally slated to open in November of 2013 (followed by another missed opening date of Memorial Day 2014), the newly designed mall is now set to open in fall 2014.
Below are some artist renderings of the mall’s makeover, courtesy of the developers, Paragon Outlet Partners.
