Today 4R Restaurant Group announced the addition of a wedding planning company to its current portfolio (which includes 4 Rivers Smokehouse, The Coop, the Sweet Shop Bakery, and 4 Rivers Catering). The Branch is a full-service events company offering catering, florals, event design and logistics, and photography to grooms- and brides-to-be. Wedding expert Andi Mans joins forces with 4 Rivers to head up the new firm.

A 4 Rivers-branded wedding makes more sense than it might seem at first – the Sweet Shop already crafts unbelievable specialty cakes and pastries, like this one (though kudos to the first bride who chooses Coke-and-potato chip cupcakes for her wedding; they’re no longer on the Sweet Shop menu, but we’re told it could be arranged as a special request). Plus, brisket tacos or a plate of burnt ends and smoked jalapeños sounds like the kind of menu to really fuel a late-night dance party.

Meet vendors, taste appetizers, see wedding fashions and pick up a swag bag at the official launch party for the Branch, 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 1010 West in downtown Orlando. Wedding industry professionals and spouses-to-be can register for the free event here.
