Popular local drag showcase Gala of Ghouls — whose last two themes were Miyazaki films and “Cannibal Country,” just to catch you up on how they creatively roll — present a format-buster event this weekend in the Birth of Nova fashion show.

The hybrid event co-hosted and spearheaded by Kissa Death combines drag show and runway show, spotlighting the innovative designs of Floridian LGBTQ+ designer Noah Aaron Sams. Sams, whose innovative couture has been sported by everyone from Kesha to Mirage Amuro, will show work worn by a cadre of trans and queer drag artists and models including Pherocia, Amnesia Effect, Soleil Runway, Egot, Davi Oddity, E, Mae Teeling, Mok Basterd, Sue Cyde and Your Scary Godmother.

Galas sell out consistently, so don’t tarry until the last moment or you’ll be all dressed up with no place to go.

5 p.m. Saturday, July 26, The Veranda at Thornton Park, ferocitycoffee.com, $13.
