Da Kine (which means “ummmm” in Hawaiian) opened a couple of months ago to bring the island specialty — raw, marinated fish with rice, wakame and various toppings and sauces — that’s taken the country by storm. The truck has also taken up the invasive lionfish cause, using it in special pokes.
Figure out what you’re going to order ahead of time (there are vegetarian options, too, btw) by checking out the menu here. Not sure which of Redlight’s brews to pair with your poke? According to this L.A. Times story, a pilsner or IPA is your best bet.
