Orlando’s hungriest can now slurp, shuck and savor a new wave of flavors in Ivanhoe Village.

Asian seafood restaurant The Rev is now open in the former home of Orlando Meats. It’s the latest project from Jason Dugan, the owner of Santiago’s Bodega, and offers eats ranging from steaming bowls of ramen to fresh oysters at 728 Virginia Drive.

Originally named Ramen Revolution more than four years ago, the concept faced delays while Dugan and his team negotiated with the City of Orlando over parking in the area. In the meantime, the space hosted a few pop-up concepts as Dugan personally worked on hand-building the storefront.

The Rev has been operating under the radar for nearly two weeks, offering a menu centered around ramen, seafood and oysters. The new spot adds to the growing list of dining options in Ivanhoe Village — however, visitors should be aware of the limited parking situation when planning to visit.
