Philanthropy-fueled wine and spirits store The Good Pour hosts its College Park grand opening this weekend.

The new outpost, which comes from co-owners Ray and Giuliana Horal and is located at 2201 Edgewater Drive, is the company’s first spot in Orange County and its largest yet. Others are located in Longwood and Gainesville.

The grand opening event takes place Feb. 22 and 23 and will offer free beer, wine and spirit tastings, engraving services and opportunities to create custom gifts, and plenty of bottles available in the market. There will also be live music and entertainment.

The 9,000-square-foot space features more than 5,000 varieties of wines, spirits, beer, seltzers, non-alcoholic beverages and a selection of gifts and goodies.

“Opening in College Park feels like coming home. This neighborhood has a special charm, and we knew from the start it was the perfect place for The Good Pour,” the co-founders wrote in a release. “It’s been a journey to get here, and we’re incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received along the way. We’re eager to raise a glass with our new neighbors and make a real difference in the community by supporting the causes they care about.”

The Good Pour infuses “retail with philanthropy” by donating up to 15 percent of profits to customers’ charity of choice, which they can select out of 140 charities via the store’s app. The Good Pour’s giveback amount can be found on all price tags online and in the store.

Customers can keep up with donations made with The Pour Board, a site that displays the amount of money raised and where it has been donated. The company has donated more than $210,000 since launching in 2022.

Using the Good Pour Marketplace’s Pour Board and the Good Pour app, grand opening guests can donate to any of the pre-vetted charities, including Audubon Center for Birds of Prey, One Heart for Women, Edible Education Experience, Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando and more. The Good Pour’s goal for opening weekend is to donate $20,000 to charity.
