Universal Orlando is bringing fresh new concepts to this year’s Halloween Horror Nights, from demon bounty hunters to tortured artistas.
The official Halloween Horror Nights account has announced two original concepts, “El Artista: A Spanish Haunting” and “Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters.”
“El Artista: A Spanish Haunting” is set in 19th-century Spain and follows “a tortured artist [who] moves into an isolated country manor for inspiration, but the art comes alive and possesses him,” according to a post on X from the official Halloween Horror Nights account.
The second original concept, “Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters,” announced Monday, is set in an Old West town.
“Red-hot lava demons are trying to possess everyone, melting everything in their path,” Universal announced on X.
The haunted houses follow the unveiling of the “Jason Universe” and Fallout-themed houses and an unknown connection to “Five Nights at Freddy’s.”
Halloween Horror Nights will run for 48 select nights from Aug. 29 (kicking off one day earlier than last year) through Nov. 2. Tickets are on sale now.
