I don’t know about the name, but Miami band Mold! definitely earn that exclamation point with their bright, splashy sound, which works in a vivid palette of fuzz, power and dynamics with equal parts originality and virtuosity.
Their music is a Technicolor rock explosion of sonic daring and joy. Opening will be an all-local contingent of young bands that includes new screamo band Wells and shoegazers Holyfield and Soap Box Derby.
