’Tis the season to unleash your freak — or just check out three days packed with top-tier twisted independent horror films.

Freak Show Horror Film Festival returns for a 19th year of blood-curdling screams to showcase new visions in horror cinema. This year’s lineup boasts more than 30 filmmakers, 20 diverse and terrifying feature films, and dozens upon dozens of jittery jump scares.

Each spine-chilling film is paired with several short films, and audiences can choose to either experience one bout of celluloid horror, or purchase a pass to fully immerse themselves in the Freak Show. Awards will get dished out over the weekend as well. Select cast and crew are on hand for post-film meet-and- greets and discussions.

Friday-Sunday, Oct. 18-20, Epic Theatres at Lee Vista, $12-$75.
