The annual postseason college football game sponsored by the salty snack cracker traditionally pits a team from the Southeastern Conference against one from the Big Ten on New Year’s Day.
This year’s game, however, takes place on New Year’s Eve and will see the South Carolina Gamecocks play the University of Illinois (alma mater of our editor in chief!) Fighting Illini.
Tuesday’s contest marks the City Beautiful’s 29th time hosting the Citrus Bowl.
