Never a stranger to a good controversy, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd put in his two cents Wednesday regarding the FBI's legal battle with Apple.

During a news conference about the arrests of five people alleged to have brutally beat and burned a man to death, Judd says the investigation was made easier because the accused took pictures of the man's body with their cellphones and showed it to people, Fox 13 reports.

The alleged killers gave the Sheriff's Office the passcodes to get into their phones. When asked about the controversy between Apple and the FBI over the company's refusal to help the government gain access into the iPhone used by one of the San Bernardino terrorists, Judd said he wouldn't have second thoughts about arresting Apple CEO Tim Cook.

"I can tell you, the first time we do have trouble getting into a cell phone, we're going to seek a court order from Apple," Grady said, according to the TV station. "And when they deny us, I'm going to go lock the CEO of Apple up. I'll lock the rascal up."

Judd added that Apple could not create a business model where they can ignore the orders of federal and state judges.

"The CEO of Apple needs to know he's not above the law, and neither is anybody else in the United States," he said.
