Cress Restaurant, Hari and Jenneffer Pulapaka’s deservedly award-showered DeLand restaurant, will be featured on the Season Two premiere episode of Emeril’s Florida, airing on the Cooking Channel 2:30 pm Sunday, Jan. 5.

This episode, “Coming to America,” is all about chefs who came to Florida from other countries—Hari Pulapaka, of course, is from Mumbai, India; host Emeril Lagasse will also interview a chef from Vietnam (BT Nguyen of Restaurant BT in South Tampa), a chef from Paris (Jose Martinez, of Maison Blanche in Longboat Key) and Guillermo Quezada, originally from the Dominican Republic and named Top Florida High School Chef in the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association’s ProStart 2013 Competition.
