Viet-Nomz
    7581 University Blvd., Winter Park, (407) 636-6069
Affordable pho, rice bowls and noodle bowls makes this small, trendy eatery a bastion of collegians attending UCF and Full Sail. Fair warning: The place can get packed pretty quickly, but if you snag a table, take advantage and order the oversized “king pho” bowl with as beefy a broth as you’ll ever slurp. While bao and spring rolls are serviceable, the rice bowl with crispy tofu and the banh mi are sure-fire options.

Royal Thai
    1202 N Semoran Blvd., (407) 275-0776
At this Thai restaurant, the simple dish param was handled with such a deft touch that is remarkable. The light peanut sauce over the pan-seared tofu cubes and vegetables is a wonderful addition to the already wonderful array of flavors.

Goodfellas Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant
    11873 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando (407) 658-6615
Where do we even begin? Goodfellas’ pies are so good that even getting plain cheese is so worth it. You can build your own with eggplant, fresh garlic and sliced meatballs as toppings you probably won’t see elsewhere, but their meat lover’s is a favorite.

Express Cafe
    5820 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy., Kissimmee, (321) 701-3929
“The outside of this cafe looks like someone converse one of the rooms into a cafe. External seating for 18 , internal for 5 , this little cafe inside has a lot of character and really showcases visitors desire. Talking to the owner this restaurant is a interesting story of customer driven product creation as the items on the menu span all Central and south america. Cachapas ( Venezuela ) , pao na chapa ( Brazil) , gallo pinto ( costa rica) , cuban sandwich (cuba) , etc. the owner invites you to ask, as he says 'what do you want?' , emphasis on want, and you get what you want. While I was here I tried the dream sandwich, crossiant breakfast sandwich and arrepas. Everything was very well made. Mango drinks delicious and my picky daughter was happy to return. I am here for a second meal and if all goes well will report back tomorrow.” - Keith T. via Yelp
