This 196-sq. ft. tiny home in Florida is on the market for $1.1 million

There's something to the beach bum lifestyle.

Living in the sparest accommodations imaginable, knowing you'll be spending most of your time outdoors, crashing at night with a bit of sand in your sheets. But something tells us the next owner of this Santa Rosa Beach tiny house won't be the free-wheeling, surf rat type.

Namely, the price tag precludes the fish taco set from snagging this home about three blocks from Florida's Seagrove Beach. The 196-sq. ft. home at 2826 S County Highway 395 sits on a little more than a quarter acre and is selling for just shy of $1.1 million.

The home features enough room for a twin bed in its one non-bathroom room. At the foot of the bed is a seating area made out of a patio two-top.  A mini fridge keeps food and serves as a stand for a microwave and a small coffee maker. The next few feet offers storage for bowls, plates, cups and cutlery. A kitchen sink adorns the far wall.

The bathroom boasts a nice clawfoot tub and pedestal sink. Out back, there's an outdoor shower for folks who like to stand during their morning constitutional.  A seating area includes a washtub pool.

We're no fools. We know that the price includes the land, which features enough room to build further buildings on, in a part of the state where Earth is even more precious than average. The home is mere blocks from the pristine waters of the Panhandle's Gulf. Nearby Seaside has gone from a quaint exemplar of the principles espoused by Jane Jacobs to a booming, walkable retreat. Still,  a metric like $5,587/square foot is not something you see every day, even in Florida's ultra-hot real estate market.

The home is represented by Brad Dahler of Berkshire Hatahaway Home Services.  The sellers are asking $1,095,000. Zillow's estimator expects the home to sell quickly.
