The winners of our Orlando beer survey

We asked Orlandoans to tell us what they like to drink. Find out what they had to say

We surveyed Orlando beer drinkers informally by asking a very basic question: What is your favorite beer? The responses flooded in like a happy hour rush to a free keg, and a couple of breweries really stood out. Ten percent of the vote went to beers from Tampa’s Cigar City, and there was a generous pour of support for Cask and Larder and Hourglass Brewery.

In the end, though, it was a draw between Cigar City Jai Alai, a much-favored IPA in these parts, and Fat Tire, an amber ale from New Belgium Brewing Company. Runners up included Chimay Blue, St. Bernardus Abt 12 and, appropriately for the St. Paddy’s season, Guinness. Cheers to your choice beverages, Orlando.
