Tempting greens fresh from Eden

Don't blink as you drive down the dense strip of shops along Mills Avenue north of Colonial Drive, or you might miss Eden's Garden (1214 N. Mills Ave., 407-895-2491) -- and you'd regret it.

The little green building across the street from Ba Le (1227 N. Mills Ave.) is a small but appealing greengrocer offering some of the best prices in town on fresh fruits and veggies.

Perfect little 2-inch-round red and white potatoes are a mere 69-cents a pound, succulent Florida avocados (this is the season) are under a buck, and limes are seven for a dollar.

ucca and yams sit alongside firm eggplants and sweet pineapples, at half the price you'll grudgingly pay at the supermarket.

The coolers in back are full of frozen vegetables (2 pounds of frozen corn for $2.65), and there are usually containers of fresh-cut fruit salad for your lunch.
