Seducing that inner Wonka

When it comes to group gatherings, the dreaded question, "What do you want to do?" sometimes gets answered by an awkward silence. The next time that happens, trying yelling, "Bonbon bash!" and see how fast you make friends (or clear the room).

Perhaps thinking ahead to such socially challenging occasions, Farris and Foster's is offering in-shop "Chocolate Fun Nights" at both of its stores (3022 Corrine Drive, Winter Park, 407-894-1981; 870 S. Sun Drive, Lake Mary, 407-333-4645). It's a chance to venture backstage in a real chocolatier shop and have your own Willy Wonka fantasies come true.

You and a bunch of guests can delight in dipping, filling and decorating hand-made candies. Just send them through a waterfall of molten chocolate, and then eat until you're sick. A two-hour session is $20 a person and includes a pound of chocolate each. Say it with me: chocolate party!
