A local brewery will soon add ciders, wines and an extremely nearby observation wheel to its menu.
The Winery and Tasting Room by Brewlando will open later this summer at Icon Park, the I-Drive entertainment complex that holds the Orlando Eye, the eatery announced in a press release this week. This will be Brewlando’s second location.
Brewlando opened its first space, on Hoffner Avenue just north of the Orlando International Airport, in 2022. The female- and local-owned taproom and brewery serves specialty craft beers ranging from the 501 Oatmeal Stout to the Magic City Nitro.
Its new location in Icon Park will replace the upscale cocktail spot Istanbul Lounge, which relocated across the parking lot earlier this year.
The venue will offer more than 50 wines and canned cocktails; cider made onsite; seven craft beers on tap; and a variety of charcuterie boards. It holds space for 120 guests with standing and patio seating.
Brewlando owner Shara Pathak, a University of Central Florida graduate, said the location is a “natural extension” of her company’s mission in the release.
“Our team is working tirelessly to ensure that every detail — from the inviting decor to the rich tapestry of flavors in our offerings — embodies our commitment to excellence,” she said.
Brewlando will join other Icon Park food options added this year. Those include new “fast comfort” restaurants EVOO, a Mediterranean kitchen; the Bone, a Korean fried chicken eatery; and the Winnie Tea Bar, which offers boba tea and mochi donuts.
