Outside of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Disney Springs is the place to be for limited edition Halloween treats from Amorette’s Patisserie, The Ganachery and other snack spots and bars. Here are all the new fall items to try at Disney this year.
Amorette’s Patisserie
- Madame Leota Petit Cake: Chocolate chiffon layers with caramel mousse and crushed pretzels.
- Amorette’s Wilting Rose: Chocolate biscuit with dark chocolate mousse and raspberry sauce.
- Halloween Minnie Mouse Dome: Chocolate chiffon and dark chocolate mousse with cherry gel filling.
- Pumpkin Patch Old Fashioned: Maker’s Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon, simple and vanilla syrups, pumpkin spice and Angostura bitters served with an ice sphere.
- Creepy Mudslide: Kahlua Coffee Liqueur, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur and vanilla base, served in a chocolate drizzled glass and garnished with whipped cream, gummy candy and crushed cookie pieces.
- Mickey Pumpkin Waffle Sundae: With vanilla soft-serve, topped with pumpkin caramel and M&M’s.
- Maleficent Cone: Black vanilla cone filled with pistachio and purple cheesecake soft-serve swirl and chocolate horns.
- Pecan Ganache Square: Toasted caramelized pecans blended with milk chocolate.
- Oogie Boogie Chocolate Toffee Bites: Dark chocolate, ruby chocolate and house-made pumpkin spiced toffee with crispy pearls.
- Pumpkin Mickey Chocolate Piñata: Milk chocolate shell with pumpkin spiced marshmallows inside.
- Jack Skellington Cinnamon Ganache Square: Sri Lankan cinnamon with milk chocolate.
The festive beer comes from a collaboration with Winter Garden’s Crooked Can Brewing and features Irish and German malt and pumpkin spice. The food items can be purchased a la carte or together in a $44 dining experience.
- Potato pretzel: With beer braised caramelized onion and cheese sauce.
- Pork chop schnitzel: Served with crispy skin-on fried potato wedges, mustard cream sauce, pear and shallot relish and grated parmesan.
- Apple strudel: Served with vanilla custard, vanilla mascarpone and oat crumble.
Over in Magic Kingdom, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe launched a new menu of Tex-Mex offerings inspired by the American Southwest.
The main draw of the new menu are the “create-your-own” bowls.
Bowl base options:
- Steamed tamale: Steamed green chili-cheese tamale with stewed pinto beans, queso fresco and pico de gallo.
- Nacho bowl: House-fried corn tortilla chips with stewed pinto beans, chipotle queso and pico de gallo.
- Rice bowl: Stewed pinto beans, cilantro-lime rice, cowboy caviar, pico de gallo and queso fresco.
- Southwest Caesar salad: Romaine lettuce tossed in creamy salsa verde dressing, pepitas, queso fresco, pico de gallo and tortilla strips.
Pecos Bill’s also has new a la carte entrees and sides, including barbecue-cheddar seasoned fries, Charros Beans with pico de gallo and queso fresco and cilantro-lime rice.
- Double chili con queso burger: Two flame-broiled patties topped with chili con carne, chipotle queso and corn chips, served with barbeque-cheddar seasoned fries.
- Grilled masa flatbread: Grilled corn flatbread with sweet potatoes, stewed pinto beans, plant-based pepper jack “cheese,” shredded lettuce, pico de gallo and plant-based lime crema.
