The 2023 Corridor Project Billboard Exhibition once again places the work of a select group of artists from regions along the I-4 corridor on billboards throughout town, hopefully making for a somewhat more eye-catching and less senses-shattering journey throughout our traffic-clogged metropolis.
This public art exhibition is a collaboration between Downtown Arts District and local curator Pat Greene (newly appointed Public Art Coordinator for the City of Orlando). It is the second such exhibition, the first having happened a year ago at this time.
“I’ve said before that the idea is a response to COVID,” Greene says. “I figured [even] if people are isolated, they were still driving. I want to democratize the experience of seeing art, without dumbing it down.”
Find every billboard at the listed addresses, or see them all on the digital billboard at 113 W. Marks St. Or check out the art in smaller sizes but closer proximity at CityArts in downtown Orlando, through Feb. 12.
