OPENINGS: All-vegan eatery Leguminati has moved into the Sandwich Bar on East Robinson Street in the Milk District ... Banh mi joint Mai Bistro opens Friday in the former Scientology building on East Colonial Drive ... Also on East Colonial Drive, Lineage Coffee Roasting will open next door to Lazy Moon Pizza on Dec. 2 ... Another popular food truck, Caro-Bama BBQ, will open a sandwich bar inside the North Quarter Market ... Jacksonville-based chain Maple Street Biscuit Co., serving "comfort food with a modern twist," has opened an outpost in Oviedo ... Owners of the Big Easy in Winter Garden will open a second location at the Lakeside Village plaza in Windermere in Jan. ... Rosallie Le French Cafe has opened in downtown Winter Garden ... In Casselberry, Pier 36 will open in the building that once housed Hooters on Cassel Creek Boulevard ... Greenery Creamery, serving small-batch and vegan ice cream, will open on the ground floor of the 420 East apartment building on Church Street in Thornton Park in January

CLOSINGS: The Peppy Bistro has shuttered on Edgewater Drive in College Park ... In Winter Park Village, Mitchell's Fish Market has closed.

NEWS: Jay Smith has sold Cavanaugh's Fine Wines in College Park. New owner Rob Chase will renovate the space, but will keep the wine shop open while doing so.

EVENTS: Wine Barn celebrates its 10th anniversary Saturday, Nov. 18, from 3-6 p.m. with a holiday wine tasting and sales event. Cost is $35 ($50 day of) ... Also on Nov. 18, walk-around tasting event Savor the Night, presented by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, goes from 6-10 p.m. at the City Commons Plaza and City Hall Rotunda. Cost is $95; $130 for couples.
