Get on the bus

Catch a ride on a party bus bound for the bars

We don’t condone drinking and driving, but everybody knows that the most obnoxious Debbie Downer during a night out drinking with friends is the designated driver – especially when you’re the one stuck with the responsibility.

In a city like Orlando, where many of the drinking hotspots are far-flung and nowhere within walking distance of your campus, you’ve got to find someone sober to drive you around. And that’s where party buses come in. For a reasonable per-passenger fee, private coaches operating around town offer nightly rides from various pickup points to downtown Orlando and surrounding clubs and bars. A couple even serve drinks on the bus – an appetizer before your boozy main course. You don’t need to worry about how you’re going to get home from the club – just get on the bus and worry about getting your party on. Leave the rest up to the driver.

A couple of quick things to remember: Be on time for your bus so you don’t get left behind. Don’t forget to bring your photo ID – the bus driver won’t bring you home to get it! Make sure to check the rules of your bus before you get on. Call ahead and RSVP to reserve your seat on the bus, or else you risk being left in the dust.
