OPENINGS: Iron Cow, a restaurant/bar/live music venue, has opened on East Robinson Street in the Milk District ... Eden's Fresh will open sometime this week on the ground floor of the Wellesley building in College Park ... Sticky Rice has opened on East Colonial Drive in the former DaVi Viet Kitchen space ... Truck Stop Pop-Up Kitchen, the first permanent pop-up space in the city, has opened ... U Roll Express will open early this winter at 100 E. Pine St. downtown ... Look for Garp & Fuss to open any day now in the old Bistro on Park Avenue space off Park Avenue in Winter Park ... Also on Park Avenue, Choulala Fine Pastries will open a proper patisserie in February ... Over in Hannibal Square, the Sausage Shack has opened in the former Park Cafe & Bakery space ... Look for De La Vega Restaurant to open on City Plaza Way in Oviedo this February ... Coolgreens, a fast-caj health-food eatery, will expand to Orlando in the near future.

CLOSINGS: Cocktail bar Herman's Loan Office has closed, as has Native and Oak Room. The group behind the trio of bars will open Novelty, a new bar concept, in Thornton Park this March ... Kasa Restaurant has closed and will rebrand itself as Chela Tequila & Tacos. The reopening is slated for Jan. 23. Chela will feature a $15 AYCE taco menu every Tuesday.

NEWS: Scott Copeland is no longer at Artisan's Table. Monica McCown has taken over executive chef duties at the downtown resto ... Celebrity chef Kevin Dundon has cut ties with Raglan Road Irish Pub in Disney Springs ... The Glass Knife is offering Onyx Coffee's brewed Sugar Skull blend for only $1 throughout the month of January ... Fleet Farming is expanding its program into the Parramore neighborhood.

EVENTS: The Parramore Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the east side of the Orlando City Soccer Stadium ... Capa Steakhouse at the Four Seasons Resort hosts a dinner featuring Shafer Wines Thursday, Jan. 18, at 6 p.m. Cost is $250 ... Cress Restaurant hosts a Caribbean Soul Supper Jan. 18 and a Winter Seafood Fest Jan. 19; visit for reservations.
