Farewell, Beefy King sign: Saying goodbye to an Orlando icon

Yesterday, the iconic Beefy King sign was taken down from the pole where it was perched for 46 years. Beefy King's owners say a new sign, identical to the original one, will replace it today. We were there yesterday morning to say a final farewell to this piece of Orlando history, which will be stored at a private residence belonging to a friend of the restaurant's owners.
