Every painful moment we saw at the ‘Love Hurts’ spicy eating competition in Orlando’s Milk District
Tuesday night was Valentine's Day in Orlando, sure, but it was also the night of the first "Love Hurts," a spicy eating competition put on by Tasty Takeover and Red Panda Noodle. Evil cupids Seth Parker and Eliot Hillis provided course after course ranked in increasing Scoville units, with stops along the way like 250,000 ("burns like snorting wasabi") and 1.2 million ("natural birth while being maced in the face by your midwife"), and it only got more fiery from there.
A cadre of brave locals sampled increasingly spicy fare in a contest where pride was on the line. Luckily they were in the Milk District, because that milk was a lifeline for more than one contestant. Not everyone made it to the end, but they're all hotties in our book.
