We really hoped we’d learn about all kinds of fun, secret beer joints from our Beer Survey, which offered you guys a chance to pipe up about your favorite local beer bars, but it only seemed to tell us what we’ve all known for years: Redlight is the Budweiser of Orlando beer bars – the undisputed king. Redlight Redlight took first place in every single category, making it the No. 1 destination to meet friends for a beer, take your parents out on the town and drink the best beer in town. It is clearly everyone’s favorite beer bar, and it’s a local spot that many agree can’t be replicated in other towns. We hear you, and congratulations are in order for Redlight Redlight; we love it there as much as you guys do.

Finishing second in every category, though, was Hourglass Brewery, yet another bar that we acknowledged for impressive beer nerdery in our feature on craft beer bars (“Crafty Bastards,” March 13). But we knew going into the issue that we couldn’t possibly have covered everything, and your responses helped to prove that bars like World of Beer and Caddy Shanks have just as many regulars draining their taps, too.
