A home designed by one of Frank Lloyd Wright's protégés just sold in Clearwater.
Located at 1653 Sunnybrook Ln, this fixer-upper is definitely worth a little bit of TLC. It's actually one of a small handful of homes in the area designed by architect Joseph Louis McClung, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright who was responsible for a few notable Tampa Bay buildings, including the nearby St. John's Episcopal Church.
Built in 1963, this 3,548 square-foot mid-century home was inspired by Wright's early Prairie-style, and comes with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, as well as a glassed-in orchid room, a koi pond, a huge circular driveway, a game room, and 1.5 acres along Allen Creek.
The home was asking for $525,000, but sold in May for $505,000. The listing agent was Ray Ingandela.
