SeaWorld's latest tour lets you get up-close with killer whales

SeaWorld's new Killer Whale Up-Close tour is the closest you'll probably ever get to the ocean predators – and no, touching the whales is not a part of the tour.

Even though you can't touch or feed the whales, the roughly 45-minute tour promises to be informative and interactive. It is SeaWorld's newest tour, joining the Dolphin Up-Close and the Penguin Up-Close tours.

During the tours, trainers share stories and facts about the killer whales, host demonstrations on feeding and care, and oversee an interactive session between visitors and three of SeaWorld's whales. 

The tour takes place at the show pool, where guests can view the whales in the tank and on the shallower section of the pool, called the slideout. In the last half of the tour, the guide wraps up by talking about training and caring for the whales and answers any questions the group may have.
Visitors will be able to take home photographs of themselves with the whales to commemorate the experience.

Due to limited space, guests should make reservations online in advance, and the cost starts at $79 per person.
